TAROT diploma project

Project completed and defended at the Academy of Fine Arts, Faculty of Graphics, in 2022, earning a Master degree. Project exploring the theme of Tarot cards as a form of organizing meanings and tool for conveying narratives about what is visible and what seems unattainable. Graphics feature characters and creatures inspired by Slavic mythology.

Each graphic in the series draws inspiration different cards of the Major Arcana: Strength, The Lovers, The Hermit, The Sun, Justice, and Wheel of Fortune. The project was accompanied by a written thesis that analyzed and compared various historical tarot decks, exploring the symbolism embedded within them.
